I ordered this serum for my daughter and these are her thoughts about it:The serum is hydrating, but it doesn't seem to do much else. It doesn't have a bad smell and it feels nice on the skin. It absorbs well and doesn't leave a tacky or sticky feeling behind. That being said, it didn't do much for her. She has minor breakouts and it didn't irritate her skin but it didn't do anything to improve the look of it either.She feels that though it's hydrating and doesn't cause her any irritation, it's not worth the money. There are better serums available that truly do help improve the overall look and feel of her skin and are comparable in price.
My skin was breaking out for a while and was starting to clear up before I started using this serum, stayed about the same the 2 weeks I used it with minimal further improvement, switched to some other products and skin started breaking out again so I tried using this serum and the face wash again and have had no improvements at all and skin is still breaking out.Maybe it's better for breakouts that were caused by other topical products such as makeup and not hormonal or diet related like in my case.The serum is very lightweight, hydrating, doesn't have a scent and doesn't leave much of a residue once absorbed. On the plus side the serum itself didn't cause any new breakouts, it just didn't do much for the existing ones but that was just my experience.
I would say Purito is a really nice, gentle brand, suitable for maintenance and prevention, and I will try anything they offer that falls within the realm of my concerns.This serum has an appealing green color and feels appropriately refreshing. You only need a few drops to use on your entire face. It has a natural, clean scent, not overpowering, and it didn’t leave any annoying residue. After using it together with the Superfruit Cleanser, my face feels softer even before moisturizing. What I like best about it, though, is that it feels light and it gets absorbed easily (it also seems to help with sebum control).
