Using this Purito Oat-In Silky Toner was quite the experience. This toner is stripped down to minimal ingredients, branding, and packaging - no frills here! The toner comes in a clear bottle and looks just like milk. It has a thinner consistency than I expected, and has no noticeable scent. Because it is thin, it isn’t the easiest toner to spread, and I find myself having to apply more toner to my cotton round to cover my entire face, which is why I took off one star from my rating. However, if you don’t like the look & feel of a heavy toner on your face, this toner will be perfect for you.The toner literally only has 10 ingredients in it - that is really hard to find in skincare products nowadays! So if you are looking for a toner with minimal ingredients, then this one might be perfect for you! The active ingredient in this toner is Avena Sativa Kernel Extract, which is another name for oat extract. It is know for antioxidant and skin-soothing properties.In all, this toner is just right for people with sensitive skin!
This toner is a pretty good addition to my skincare routine. There is no noticeable scent, doesn’t cause any issues for my sensitive/acne prone skin, and dries quickly. However, I will say that it leaves my skin a tiny bit sticky and I haven’t noticed any real change with my skin from using this product compared to my previous toner. Overall a decent product, just not sure it’s worth the cost.
